The tradition continues today, when Rab, thanks to the crystal clear, warm and shallow sea, is an ideal destination for the whole family. Here everyone can find their ideal beach depending on their own wishes: on Rab there are nudist beaches, secluded coves, dog beaches and singles beaches looking those of you looking for a little… love 🙂

Rich flora and fauna
More than 30% of the island’s surface is covered with a variety of plants, from fragrant bushes on the slopes of Kamenjak to rich pine and oak forests inhabited by rabbits, pheasants and birds of prey. On the island of Sv. Gregory you can even encounter a deer, if you are lucky. Because of all that rich flora, Rab is also called the emerald island.
