Departure from the port of Rab is at 9:30 am. We sail along the Barbat Channel towards the bay Zavratnica, which resembles a fjord and is part of the protected Velebit Nature Park. At the very beginning of the bay are easily visible remains of a sunken ship from World War II.

Then we sail along the northeastern side of the island of Rab towards the fascinating pebble beach Njivice, above which the steep slopes of the Kamenjak hill rise almost 400 m. We arrive around 10:45. The coast is an ideal place for diving and swimming, and for a vacation on a dinghy with a few snacks and a sip of a cold drink.

At 12:00 we raise the anchor and sail on the north side of Lopar, turn west and continue towards the protected and wooded coast of the island of Rab, which abounds in sandy beaches. Kalifront is known for its crystal clear emerald color. Here we anchor in the bays of Planka and Ćifnata around 13:00.

Then we head to the pier of the restaurant Frkanj, which is located in a dense pine forest of the peninsula of the same name. Here you can enjoy Mediterranean specialties of the restaurant or the atmosphere of Smola Beach Chillout Bar or swimming. At the end we sail towards the port, passing under the walls of Rab and four bell towers. We dock at the port of Rab at 18:00.

Departure from the port of Rab is at 9:30 am. We sail along the Barbat Channel towards the Zavratnica Bay, which is part of the protected Velebit Nature Park. Zavratnica is a bay tucked deep into the mainland, where the remains of a sunken ship from the Second World War are located.

Then we sail the Velebit Channel towards Goli Otok – European Alcatraz. We arrive at Goli at 11:15. Here you can go on an individual tour of the island and the remaining camp infrastructure or use the tourist train. At 12:45 we arrive at the neighboring island of St. Gregory where you can bathe. It is not uncommon here to see almost tame deer eating out of hand.

Departure from the port of Rab is at 9:30 am. We sail towards the small uninhabited island of Lagnja where we arrive at 11:00.

We stay here for an hour and recommend swimming in the turquoise sea between the two islands. We raise the anchor and sail further south towards the islet of Dolphin, only 1.5 nautical miles (3km) from Laganj. There is also time for swimming and sunbathing on the deck of the dinghy. We head towards the northwestern part of the island of Rab, the Kalifront peninsula. From 12:00 to 14:30 we visit the “5 pearls” – the most beautiful beaches of the Adriatic, which are located in the forest Kalifront and Dundo.

These are the bays of St. Mari, Planki, Valsiki, Ćifnati and Gožinki. We anchor and stay for a while in Planka and Ćifnati. Then we head to the pier of the restaurant Frkanj, which is located in a dense pine forest of the peninsula of the same name.
